Training
and Events

We are excited to announce our signature networking event “Hot Topics” will be returning later this year. Hot Topics is a series of peer-to-peer learning and networking initiatives, delivered in partnership with local government and Melbourne Water. These seminars focus on all aspects of sustainable urban water management through expert and practitioner presentations, and facilitated discussions.

Clearwater, in partnership with Warrnambool City Council and Horizon 21 will be delivering a free workshop to learn about the benefits of applying Water Sensitive Urban Design, a range of sustainable water management techniques, and relevant policy and legislation.

This one day training course, developed in partnership with Monash’s Centre for Water Sensitive Cities, will introduce you with the concepts required to design an effective stormwater harvesting project. The workshop will feature insights into stormwater harvesting guidelines, latest research on the performance of stormwater treatment technologies, conceptual design and costs associated with stormwater harvesting systems. The course will include practical design exercises to develop the conceptual design of a stormwater harvesting system for a (i) greenfield and (ii) retrofit situation.

Clearwater, in partnership with eWater delivers a range of software training courses that models urban stormwater drainage, and assists the decision making process for stormwater management and Water Sensitive Urban Design. The latest version of MUSIC V5 is now available.

Clearwater’s latest tour travels to Hume City Council and The City of Whittlesea. The tour will include site visits to biofilters and wetlands in new housing estates, visits to council owned WSUD assets and town centre renewal projects incorporating WSUD and stormwater harvesting.
