Interested in lessons learnt from on-the-ground IWM projects?

We are trying to gauge interest in a tour for the spring/summer period and would love to hear from you if you're keen on joining us - use the button to let us know!

We'll get back to you with more information and a date once we have enough registrations.

Overview

Join Clearwater on a half day tour to view a variety of urban IWM projects covering different stages of development and construction. The tour will include urban stormwater harvesting projects and sites that have integrated sustainable water management into design.

The tour will focus in particular on the lessons learnt during concept, consultation, design, construction and maintenance phases of the projects. On site presentations will highlight key steps that made the project work or presented a challenge. Case studies will emphasise the internal and external organisational relationships that enabled or challenged the project. We will also discuss the performance of the technology and how ‘maintenance friendly’ the infrastructure is.

You will hear perspectives from project managers, designers, engineers, landscapers, environmental staff and maintenance staff.

Audience

Suitable for anyone involved in sustainable water planning or asset maintenance, including developers, planners, architects, environment and maintenance staff.

Cost

Please note there will be a fee for attending this tour. Approximate costs: $200-$300
